How busy will WDW be in February?

We have our reservations made for Feb 19-28. I know that February is generally a slower time of year, atleast as "slow" as WDW gets. So is there anything going on that may cause this time to be busier than normal or will it still be "slow"?

We were there during that time this year. The first part of your trip will probably be crazy with President's Day crowds, but the second part should be lovely. We loved the last week of February! We concentrated our rides in the mornings and evenings and were able to ride standby the whole time, we didn't bother with FastPasses at all. Towards the end of the week got to see some of the flower and garden stuff going up at Epcot, and a lot of flowers started to bloom just in general, even outside the parks. Spring seemed to happen overnight, it was probably the prettiest week of our trip.

We are going at a similar time, starting with the Princess Half Marathon and staying 10 days after! I've heard that the parks aren't terrible so looking forward to it. When we were there in June we had good luck until the end of our trip when it got really busy but it was definitely never as crowded as it was on New Years Eve and Day and then July! If we can deal with those crowds I'm sure we can handle the crowds in February haha

Thanks for the replys!! We were already kinda expecting it to busier than our last trip, February 9-16 2013, because of Presidents Day being earlier in the week. My DW and I have already talked about doing the parks at rope drop most days then head back to the resort around noon, relax and enjoy the resort, then head back to the parks sometime early evening. We are at WDW enough days that we don't feel that we have to be in the parks all the time.

This has been a fairly crazy year for us. I left my job of 12.5 years and took a position with our city public works which has me back in school 3 days a week, my wife got a promotion at work and has had to make 2 trips to China with a 3rd coming up in November, and last but not least I started a major remodel/addition to our house I have done literally all the work myself except for the concrete, plumbing and electrical. All of this has been since April, so we are very much looking forward to our up coming vacation!!

The beginning of your trip might have higher crowds due to people from the New Orleans area escaping Mardi Gras. I learned this the hard way when we unknowingly planned our trip in `09 then and the crowds were higher at WDW.

Have fun! :)
