How big is Magic Kingdom?

How many acres is Magic Kingdom? I forever hear about how Disneyland is 85 acres but it leads me to wonder how big is Magic Kingdom?

I thought that it was 100 acres because Animal Kingdom is 5 times the size of MK.

But I always heard the MK was smaller then Disneyland, and Disneyland is 85 acres.

For sure MK is bigger than Disneyland. Im pretty sure MK is in the 100-150 acre range

Yes, it's in the 100-130 range. (It's 1/5 the size of Animal Kingdom and EPCOT)...

Thanks all for the info, I am sure 100+ acres is accurate if you count the parking lot, but I am not trying to count the parking lot.

If you count the parking lot of Disneyland (now DCA) that is 145+ acres,

But I'm only counting the Magic Kingdom, not the parking lot, and not the Seven Seas Lagoon, and I've heard over and over it's smaller then Disneyland's 85 acres. It seems to be a dark mystery.

i know this is more than mk info but i once heard that the total area that disney owns in fla-all of walt disney world is 47 square miles-which is twice the size of new york city and the same size as san fransisco.i read that in a disney book

Thanks James. I guess I was wrong then, and MK is 22 acres larger then Disneyland, although I still don't see where they added it if that's true.

I think they are in the low 50s in terms of square mileage at this point. As for the size of the Magic Kingdom, perhaps it is spread out more?

I still have a hard time beleiving it's that much bigger then Disneyland. I guess I am just in denial, I am on the Jungle Cruse in The Nile (LOL)

Nope it's bigger.. and our castle is also 3 or so times taller, and from what every DL Guest has told me our Splash Mtn. is better and we have the "reader's digest" version of PoTC
