How big a bunk?

Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me how big the bunks are at Animal Kingdom Lodge? My DS is desperate to stay at AKL, however my DD is not to keen on sharing a bed but at 5'9" is she to tall for a bunk? She can always bend at the knee!

Several years ago we stayed at WL and I slept in the top bunk. I am 5'10" and I must admit it wasn't bad. I've never stayed at AKL, but I imagine the bunks are probably similar.

We have stayed at AKL with bunks, and my son (who at the time was at least 5'11") fit on the bunk just fine! It is a standard twin size. (And far better than sharing a bed with his younger sister!)

The bunks in the Treehouse Villas are full length twin beds. But I've never stayed at a WL room with bunks.
