How are the crowds around Thanksgiving week?

We are considering a trip around Thanksgiving week and were wondering if it is really crowded during that week?

Yeah....some of the most crowded throughout the entire year!!!

Absolutely !!! I've gone every year the day after Thanksgiving for about the last 9 or 10. It's crowded from check in to whatever park you go to. Doesn't bother me or I wouldn't pick this time of year to go. But after Thanksgiving weekend it levels off nicely. Then throw in a few extra magic hour nites If you don't like crowds, then this is the weekend to avoid.

I go during the week before Thanksgiving every year -- it is never a problem from Sunday through Wednesday. Then the crowds start to roll in on Wed night and from that point through Sunday it is one of the peak seasons of the year. I go home on Wed night or Thur morning to avoid the crowds.

Is it really that crowded because then we must have gotten lucky!! Epcot on Thanksgiving Day last year was not that crowded. We didn't see a huge crowd over the week either. (& this was the 1st time that we were at Disney that time of year; [we usually go in October when the crowds aren't that bad])
