House of Blues...thoughts or experiences?

We scored a ADR for HOB for our trip in September and are looking forward to trying this non-traditional (for us) dining experience. We also landed an ADR for BOG and CRT which we are really excited about but those two have tons of info on the threads but not so much on HOB...

So, let's have it...the good, the bad and the ugly in your opinion/experience.

Getting the good from me. We went for the HOB gospel brunch several trips back. Assortment of food was excellent, everything was great, entertainment was superb. Went for dinner another time, excellent pulled pork sandwich, friend had the ribs and he raved about those too. It's a winner in my book. Congrats on getting CRT & BOG. We did CRT before and this Sept will be our first try for BOG.

Dined there a couple of times, good food and good service. DS and I enjoyed the ribs.

We dined there once and it was okay. Part of it was the fact they sat us in the very back of the restaurant which has almost no character like the front does. Wife did not like the pulled pork sandwhich, but the kids enjoyed the street tacos they had. My burger was one you could get anywhere. Not horrible but would only go back if we could be assured of sitting up in the front area.

No matter what it is going to awesome since I am going to be meeting my niece for dinner from a half sister I just found out about a couple of years ago and we are totally excited to meet her and her husband for the first time this trip!!! looking forward to this sooo much but glad that it is not a terrible experience as we are looking forward to a fun filled day at DTD with them!

We've had great service there over the years...Recommend the ribs.

Delicious. Went with two of my roommates about a week ago. Had a burger with cheddar and pickled jalapenos with sweet potato fries. Everyone enjoyed their food!

Always had a great meal and service there. Its also a great place to relax and have a few drinks while listening to some great music.

One of my favourite places to eat..Big portions,awesome ribs,and really good house wine,and very reasonable priced..

Good food - lousy service. It seemed once our server decided we weren't have cocktails and were splitting a meal we lost her attention. If she'd have come back we were indeed going to order drinks but didn't get the opportunity. Only came back long enough to drop off the bill.

I've only been to the local HOB but I really like the new menu. Is it worth going there instead of the more iconic Disney World restaurant options? Maybe, if you see something you'd like to eat. As far as "theme" restaurants go it's pretty understated which can be a good or bad thing depending on your own requirements.

We went this past November and had a great experience. I had the lobster mac & cheese which was incredible. I also highly recommend getting a Hurricane, they were delicious! Our server was excellent, even though his section was pretty full he would always make time to check in and see if we needed anything.

My wife & I have eaten at the HOB at DL & WDW. Terrific experience both times. Good food, good service & nice atmosphere. Not too expensive, either. Enjoy !!
