House of Blues Concerts

I thought a thread regarding concerts people have attended at House of Blues and reactions would be kind of cool! (My apologies if this has been done before!)

I witnessed truly amazing sets from both Athlete and Snow Patrol. I thought Snow Patrol were BRILLIANT! Anyone else on the boards attend this show? Thoughts, reactions?

Seriously, I have seen Edwin at least 10 times between Kentucky and Tampa, and the House of Blues Christmas 2003 was the BEST.

Gavin DeGraw
Marc Broussard
Fernando Ortega

I've seen a few shows at the HoB in DTD. It is a decent venue but it can be kind of small. Most of the shows I see are at Janus Landing or the State Theatre in St. Pete.I've seen a band play at Janus and then the next night at HoB and the show at Janus was better, more breathing room = happier people.

I saw Vonda Shepard there a couple of years ago Mrs. Diveteam and myself enjoyed it.

I feel they don't have nearly enough big shows at the WDW HOB, considering it's the country's largest tourist draw!

I would expect at leat one big name show a week there.

Seems like whenever I am there, the next big show is not till the following month or so.

Oh well......

I've been to quite a few shows at the HOB (non-Orlando) and love to watch shows at the venue. Plus, after the concert it turns into a nightclub, which I like.

I’ve seen Monique Powell of Save Ferris, Jet, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddies and next month, Ray Lamontagne.

My son and nephew went to see Yellowcard and Something Corporate last April when we were there for Easter and they had a great time. (First big concert for my nephew so he was extra excited!) :lol:
