Hey everyone! I'm heading to Disneyland on the 19th for a few days and I'm looking for an inexpensive hotel thats close by and I was wondering if any of you could recommend something? Also if its my first time at DL, do you think 3 days is enough to see everything? Thanks so much for your help!

Priceline is a great way to nab a room at one of the local 4 stars - Hilton, Sheraton, Hyatt Regency - for less than $100/night. Highly recommend.

I vote for Fairfield Marriott on Harbor. And 3 days is perfect, although the 19th is MLK Day and the parks will be a busier. Tuesday/Wednesday will be light. And you are aware of the rehabs this January for both parks, right?

Another vote for Best Western Park Place Plus directly across the street. You can't get closer unless you stay at the Grand Californian. It's clean and spacious and includes a hot breakfast. And it's very reasonable, especially if you get a AAA discount. We went to Disneyland for the first time this past May, and we managed to do pretty much everything we wanted (except for the few rides closed for refurbishment) in two days - one at each park. We arrived 45 minutes before opening and stayed til closing both days, and did only QS meals, no long sit-downs. But we don't mind running ourselves ragged at Disney in order to accomplish as much as possible. And we're not interested in character M&Gs, so whether 3 days is enough to "see everything" is a relative term (and also is dependent on crowds).

Thank you so much everyone for the information! And I am aware of the closures for rehabs. Sucks that matterhorn and SM are closed but what can you do!

Best Western Park Place Inn & Mini Suites. Nice sized rooms for the price, clean, and more importantly, directly across the street from the park. Used them this past summer and will be staying there again this July.

We stayed at that Fairfield a couple of years ago. Nice place. Walking distance. McDonalds and another sit down eatery in the same parking lot. Do note that they do not serve the complimentary breakfast that most other Fairfields serve.

BW PPI that others have mentioned is a good one but it gets booked up pretty quickly. The Tropicana Inn next door to it is good as well, it would be even better if you were staying 5 nights, you get $20 a night off. Next to that is the Tropicana's sister hotel, the Carousel Inn which has discounts for 4 nights or more. Those are all around the $120-$160/night range.
