hotel maps showing rooms

I am having a hard time finding the thread that had the link. I saw it years ago, it was a thread where someone had link that you could get a map of the disney hotel and it showed where the rooms that had king beds, rooms for the disabled, etc. on them. It was great so you could see where you could be staying if you needed a specific room. Also good to see where they could put you if you're staying with a large group and need certain rooms and need to stay very close to each other. I know nothing is written in stone when it comes to what room you get, want, request, etc. but it gives a good idea. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I know it existed because I printed out a map of Pop Century before when I was staying there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx:)

I am sure someone will have the links for you eventually - but let me just note - making room requests by room number makes it extremely difficult for the room assigner to assign your room, especially if that room is full for the time that you are there.

Its better to request specific attributes of the room that you are looking for - ie. first floor, top floor, near elevator, traveling with (you or your agent can link all reservations together for a group so they know who is traveling with each other), handicapped needs, etc.

If you say "I need rooms 2101, 2103, 2105 and 2107" and they can't be granted, how will they know how to make you happy?

First.... Joe is correct. If all you give them is a room number the chances of them being able to honor your request is quite small. Make requests general in nature. You might select room 2011 because it is close to the elevator but as far as the CM knows you selected it because it was near a parking lot.

Second.... Follow the link to the resort section. Click on the resort in question Click on pictures and typically the first picture on the list will be a resort map. They do not get as specific as room number but you can narrow it down by building.

Thanks for the responses so fast. I will try that one link and see if it has any others. As for the other responses, I don't want a room number, I just want to know where specific types of rooms are. I just want to know where specific rooms are situated in the whole plan of things. (ie. all rooms w/ King size beds aren't in one specific area they are dispersed throughout and they all aren't near the check-in or food area, etc). I never even said I was going to ask for a specific one. I just need to know where the particular rooms are in the hotels to base where I stay and those I am traveling with.

Ghall, thanx, that is what I'm looking for. The only problem is they give that info for Beach Club, but not for all the others. Oh well thanx anyway.
