I just came up with a new hotel resort idea! Tell me what you all think! Here goes:
Name: Disney's World Showcase Resort
Theme: The different countries presented in EPCOT's World Showcase
Location: Right across from EPCOT (on the North side)
Main Entrance: Right off of Epcot Center Drive
Number of Rooms: 2,450
Number of Pools: 11 (1 per country, being themed to the country which it resides in)
Disney's World Showcase Resort would be gigantic (as you can tell). The countries represented would be the same as those represented in EPCOT Center. These are Canada, United Kingdom, France, Morocco, Japan, Colonial USA, Italy, Germany, China, Norway, and Mexico. Each country would have one pool, being themed to either a landmark in the country or something in its history.
Canada:
Canada would have 340 rooms. The buildings would be themed to the historic, Victorian-style Chateau Laurier. To make Canada hidden from the rest of the countries, there would be a "mountain range" surrounding the area. It would even have flowing waterfalls and raging rapids. The pool would be at the base of the mountains, being themed to the Canadian wilderness. A few waterfalls would pour into the pool. This country would have no hottub or spa.
United Kingdom:
The United Kingdom would have 250 rooms. The buildings would be themed to the Georgian style of architecture. The United Kingdom would not be hidden like Canada and a few of the other countries. The pool and hottub would be located in the center of a large garden courtyard, with small pools (not for swimming) and decorative fountains. There would be a small spa located in a small building next to the pool.
France:
France would have 280 rooms. The buildings would be themed to the Red Brick style. France would not be hidden from the rest of the countries either. The pool and hottub would be located under a model of the Eiffel Tower. There would be water falls pouring out of the tower along with some water fountains.
Morocco:
Morocco would have 300 rooms. The buildings would be themed to the old sand-colored stone and mosaic style of architecture. A short stone wall would surround Morocco. The pool and hottub would be themed much like the pool at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. They would seem to be just watering holes on the African savannah.
Japan:
Japan would have 150 rooms. The buildings would be themed to the Ancient Religious (Pagoda) style of architecutre. The guest rooms would be located in round, pagoda towers (suites would be at the very top). Three towers would hold 50 rooms each. The pool and hottubs would be located in a Japanese garden with bonsai trees and water gardens. A Japanese style spa would be located at the back of the garden.
Colonial USA:
Colonial USA would have 260 rooms. The buildings would be themed to the colonial/Georgian style of architecture. Colonial USA would have no surrounding to block it from the rest of the countries. The pool and hottubs would be located in a replica of Boston Harbor. There would be a ship with the cargo still loaded (and if you study the wooden crates, you will see BRITISH TEA printed on the sides).
Italy:
Italy would have 220 rooms. The buildings would be themed to Doge's Palace in Venice. There would be no surroundings except for a short fence. The pool and hottub would be located in an old bath-house style building.
Germany:
Germany would have 140 rooms. The buildings would be themed to a Bavarian Village. There would be a small pine forest surrounding the country. The pool and hottub would be located in a clearing in the forest. There would be a couple waterfalls pouring into it also.
China:
China would have 200 rooms. The buildings would be themed to the ancient Pagoda architecture. There would be five three towers, each having 40 rooms. There would be nothing surrounding China to hide it from other countries. The pool and hottubs would be located in a large, round Temple-Style pagoda building.
Norway:
Norway would have 150 rooms. The buildings would be themed to the old Oslo style of architecure. There would be nothing hiding Norway from the rest of the countries. The pool and hottub would be located in a "Viking Cove". There would be a few Viking ships and some mythological creatures hiden amongst the cliffs.
Mexico:
Mexico would have 160 rooms. The buildings would be themed to the ancient Aztec's architecture. There would be nothing hiding this country from the others. The pool and hottubs would be located in an "Aztec Pyramid". The pool area would be themed much like that at Coronado Springs.
This is just the rough draft! Tell me what you all think!
