Hotel Help Please!

We are planning an 8 night trip starting November 3, 2019. We are considering a split stay AOA/Carribean (4/4). Which would you stay first at? or would you suggest different resort? (value/mod)

Everyone has their favorites, so you may get a lot of alternate suggestions. But I won't second guess anyone else's preferences.

I will agree that it would be better to do the value first. You'll really appreciate the difference when you move over to the mod.

I agree with doing AoA first, followed by CB. We tend to be more go, go, go during the first few days of vacation and find more free time toward the end of the vacation. We stayed at POR last May and it was fantastic scenery wise. We also loved having the option of taking a boat to Disney Springs and utilizing the pools at both POR and POFQ.

We love to experience as many resorts as possible, but avoid switching mid-trip . . . We are a little spoiled however, as we live close to WDW and visit often.

I avoid split stays unless absolutely necessary. Packing and moving takes to much work on vacation.
Its not that difficult and Disney makes it easy to move to another hotel. We've done it, and I know plenty of friends that do it all the time.

As for what to stay at, I agree AoA then the CBR

This is why I don't think it will be an issue for us when we do it next trip. We will drop our stuff with bell services, go to the park for the full day as usual, and then go to new resort after park. If you are the type to do hotel breaks, just avoid a hotel break on that day and do a character lunch or something for your mid-day break instead.
