Just a heads up to anyone staying at Caribbean Beach Resort!
On the night of Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 11pm to 6am there will be a hot water outage affecting ALL guest buildings, laundry facilities and hot water heaters at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Guests with any questions or concerns should stop by the hotel's front desk.

I think a $5 coupon at the Hotel arcade is more than enough compensation for opting out of hot water for the duration of your stay.

I'm sure they'll do something for those who complain, but I suspect most guests aren't using lots of hot water in the middle of the night, anyway. (Those that do, of course, clearly have far more interesting lives than I'll ever have.)

We tend to take our showers late at night (some of us) so we aren’t all rushing in the morning to get ready. But I do t think that we would’ve ever booked a room at a resort that’s undergoing a major renovation and is basically a construction zone with some rooms in it . I definitely would not be happy if we were there. I guess Thais are the risks you take staying in a construction zone
