Just wonderin, for anyone that has done hospitality or know anyone that has done hospitality in the college progam how much prior experience they had in the hotel industry. I applied for the hospitality role in the program but have no work experience, just educational experience. Kind of wondering what my odds are of getting that. Heard it was one of the more competative roles. any info on this topic would be appreciated...

I was in hospitality my first program and had no hotel experience just retail experience. But my recruiter loved some of my answers from the interview and he apparently felt that I was best suit for hospitality. And when I got down I found out he must have really liked me because I was at the Grand Floridian front desk and they only have about 4 or less per season at that resort. So, if you do wel in your interview and show that you have good guest service in you naturally, you'll be fine! If you have any specific questions about the role, just let me know!
