Horticulture or Landscaping employment?

I have a freind who dreams of working with the horticulture or landscaping department. Anyone here have any advice on how to pursue this dream and what she can expect while applying? Any advice about training, school, etc...? She is currently a college student, who has the personality and people skills to work in just about any castmember position but especially likes horticulture.

I would suggest that she does the College Program. It would give her a great in at Disney as well as give her an opportunity to explore Advanced Internships after her regular CP. She can find info at http://www.wdwcollegeprogram.com I hope this helps :wave:

Right now, there isn't a listing of the Advanced Internships on the site, but as of the last round of recruiting, there was a dedicated horticulture internship. Have her fill out the form to be notified of when they are re-posted. Good luck to her!
