they are making a little mermaid 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my DD toni was just watching the new edition that i ran out and bought this morning, i clicked on BONUS FEATURES and they have a thing to view a musical scene from the little mermaid 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and they are making cinderella 3 to!!!!!!!!!!!!
i am a nut, now i can't wait!!!!!!!!!!! :banana:

Yep. I heard the same thing. I also heard that they are going to make a Toy Story 3. Now that Disney owns Pixar, they are going to make a third.

From what I know, that script has been pulled in favor of a lighter storyline.

That Toy Story 3 script was scrapped and the animation and story was taken over by the Pixar end of Disney animation. Pixar expressed their dislike of the script that was hastily thrown together by Disney and when the merger took place, that was the first thing to go.

Script development is currently in the works and they I've heard rumors that they were considering parts of the previous "Disneyized" script, but that only segments of it were being put into consideration. I wouldn't bank on Buzz getting recalled.

I didn't think it was an entirely bad idea, but I found it a little far fetched that an entire house of toys could just dissapear without anyone noticing and wind up half way across the world. Sure there are all kinds of things....Andy going on vacation and leaving them all at home or something along those lines....but then it would mirror Toy Story 2 and I don't see Lasseter (who strongly follows Walts philosophy) as making a repeated sequel of a sequel.

Guess we'll see...I wouldn't expect any more news on this subject though for another year or two. Everything else until then will probably be just speculation.

As for Mermaid 3......why?

Speaking of the Little Mermaid DVD, did anyone check the virtual ride through of the LM dark ride that was going to be build at DL Paris, but never happened? I thought that was a cool feature on the DVD. If you haven't seen it check it out on disc two. I wish they would have built that one instead of Winnie the Pooh at the Magic Kingdom.
