Hello All - I was trying to find a table numbering system for the tables at the Hoop Dee Doo - I was trying to request a specific table but can’t seem to find a layout.

Tables are allocated based on when you book, plus seating category of course.

So if you book category 1 at 180 days, you will be seated front and centre. If you book category 1 at 10 days out, you will be at the back of the category 1 tables.

For category 2,I’m not sure if the back of the downstairs or the front of the upstairs is considered the best. I would think downstairs but not sure.

So they will also adjust tables according to the size of the parties booking.

Thanks - we booked at 180 out but was hoping to add a request for a specific table. I saw somewhere that:
Table numbers have meaning:
. . . EXAMPLE: table #052
. . . 0 = floor-level
. . . 5 = fifth-row-from-front
. . . 2 = second-table-from-left

No idea.

But the tables will be allocated according to when they were booked. So you should get the best table in the category you booked. I imagine in category 1 they start at the front in the centre, then go one left, one right etc until the front row is filled, then move to the centre of the second row etc.

There seems little point in requesting a specific table number, since you are unlikely to get it.

Also, if the first person to book has a party of 15, then there may only be one big table in the front row, plus two smaller tables on either side. Whereas if the first sixx bookings are all for 2-4, there could be six tables in the front row.

Thus the table numbering will vary from show to show.

Yikes! We booked this 180 days out. If they seat us up front my hubby will kill me! LOL He hates being called upon to do things and or interacting with the entertainers. I may give our front row up to someone who might want it if we get one and they allow it.

They go all around the room to get their participants, even upstairs. And you can always refuse.

FWIW, we've always booked category 2 the moment we could at 180+ days out (with parties of 4-6), and have always been seated in the second-floor tables that face the stage, so I assume they're considered the "best" of that category. The view from there is wonderful and the performers come up there during the show's audience participation numbers, so those on the second floor don't feel left out in the least.

I'm assuming you booked Cat 1. No need for DH to freak out. The cast members wont interact with anyone who isn't an obviously willing participant.

Very true if you tell them you're not interested they will move on. The comedy Disney is after is with willing participants. They do not want to embarrass, or make a guest uncomfortable.
