Hoop Dee Doo Parking Question

Hey all.. Brand New to this board... Disney veteran..

Here's a question... We're heading to WDW in a couple weeks (9/12/14-9/21/14) Renting a car for a couple of days so here's my question. We have Hoop Dee Doo reservations, 9/19 at 4PM. We also have reservations for the Wishes fireworks cruise that departs from the Contemporary at like 9PM. Will we be allowed to park at the CR early in the afternoon so we can take the boat to FW for HDD? I know Disney is hinky about parking at resorts without a dining reservation etc, but since we have a reservation that is based out of CR, I was thinking they'd be cool with it. Any thoughts???

You'd be better off parking at the TTC to be honest with you. I've heard of cars being towed from the Contemporary, so why chance it? As a resort guest you'll have free parking anyway.

Seriously? So not having taken the monorail all that much, how late does it run to the TTC. We're going on a night that has a Not-So-Scary Halloween party and I'm not sure how late the monorail runs on those nights

I think you would be OK to park at the Contemp. You do have a cruise departing from there.

Have you considered parking at the Wilderness Lodge and using boat transport for everything? Super quick boats between FW and WL as well as not so long between CR and FW. Just another option.

It's actually very difficult to get ahold of someone who is physically at the front desk of a resort. If you call the number listed for the hotel, or even press the "Front Desk" button on your in-room phone, you'll get an operator at the WDW main switchboard who will answer the phone as if they were there at the resort. (Their screen tells them what number the incoming call was for and they answer the phone appropriately)

I'd suggest parking at the TTC. The Resort monorail loop stops at the TTC.

I'm not one for cheating at Disney, esp about parking at resorts. Even I would say you would be ok and not really doing anything wrong to park at contemporary. You have a cruise leaving from there and there is where your night will end. I would just tell the guard that you have a cruise and want to look around first. There should be no problem

We've been late for Fort Wilderness reservations waiting on the boats from Contemporary in the past, took 45 min for the boat to show up one day.
We're actually doing something similar this year too, and I think I'll just park at the Fort Wilderness parking lot and take the bus to Hoop Dee Doo area. Then you can drive over to where you want after.
