What would be a simple route to take from Hoop-De-Do back to the Broadwalk resort?
Is there a better way?

The only "simple" way is to call a cab. They can take you straight from WL to BW. Now, a not too difficult and MUCH cheaper way is to take the "inside" bus to the front of WL, catch a bus to Epcot and walk to the International Gateway (I think that is what they call it) and walk to BW....very short walk. OR you can take the boat to MK, monorail to Epcot then walk to BW. You can also go via DTD, but I think that would take longer.

The Hoop Dee Do is not at the WL and there is no "inside" bus to the front... The Hoop Dee Do is at Fort Wilderness - it is a totally different resort. I don't mean to be rude or mean, but this just drives me crazy, my failing...sorry. :o

I agree that there is no simple way to get from the Boardwalk to Fort Wilderness. If you have a car and can drive over then that is what I would do. Taking the bus from the Boardwalk Inn to the MK and then take the boat to Fort Wilderness (by way of the Wilderness Lodge- they share) will take you to the rear of the campgrounds which is close to Pioneer Hall where the show is held. This is going to take some time so I would leave myself about 90 minutes as the bus from the Boardwalk Inn is shared by a bunch of hotels, is crowded and its a bit of a drive. If you get there too early have a look around the campgrounds as there is much to see.
Returning to the Boardwalk, just reverse the process...the boat to the MK then a bus back to the Boardwalk Inn.

The answer depends on whether MK is open when you get out of HDD. If it is...take the boat to MK and take the BW bus back to the Boardwalk.

It gets a bit more complicated if MK is closed or closing.

Whether you meant to be rude or not, you were!!!! And FYI, when I went to HDD, there WAS a bus that takes you from FW to the front of somewhere that I THOUGHT was the WL! It has been 6 or 7 years, and I don't remember everything perfectly. I assume from your response that YOU do. So excuse the hell out of me for not being able to go every year like you. I was just offering advice to someone who asked!!!!!!

There are busses waiting outside of the HoopDeeDoo when its over that will take you to every resort on property. No need to go to MK or cab it. Just walk out of the hoop de doo, turn right, walk down path.. ask the person at the end of the path what bus goes to your resort.. walk onto that bus.. thats what I did last week.

That was uncalled for.

Whether you know it or not....confusion about HDD being at the WL is a major issue and I have personally witnessed guests showing up at the front desk of WL looking for the HDD, ten minutes before the show is supposed to start. Your mistake, yes mistake, is too common and could cause confusion to someone who was looking for information. How would you feel if someone read your post, and based on your post, showed up at the wrong resort, missing out on the ressie and losing their deposite.

You are not excused.

I'm going to have to 2nd hakunamatata on this one. This "excuse the hell out of me" business is not appropriate. She was simply correcting your mistake and then immediately apologized for it. I realize that sometimes it is difficult to infer someone's tone in a post, so perhaps it's better to type nothing at all, than to type something that later you may not feel the same way about.
