simple, what we consider classics here don't apply to the far east. of the "classics" I think only Pirates and HM could work because Pirates and Ghosts have a universal appeal to them...Splash, maybe but if the Pirate Mountain rumours are true then there is no reason to build it.

Actually, both pirates and "ghosts" have very different cultural meanings in China than in the west.

A full day park just means that there is a full day worth of things to do. Attractions, shows, shopping, eating...
A half day park would mean that there is only enough things to do to occupy half a day.

I get that, but that's too simple of an explanation for me.

Who decides? It's going to be different depending on crowds and on the person - child, teen, adult, senior, thrill/non-thrill rider. And on how much shopping you do, how long you take to eat, and how much time you spend appreciating the theming. And what about the opening hours? And does that include going on a ride twice or more because the ride is so awesome?

The first time I went to IOA, I had ridden everything except kiddie rides by 3pm, including Spidey and DD seven times each and Hulk four times. Does that make it a half-day park? I certainly felt like I got my money's worth. I left because I was getting dizzy!

I've been to WDW-MK on empty rainy mornings and done pretty much the whole park by noon. Half-day park? I wouldn't call it that.

The thing is that anybody can call any park a half-day park if they want. That's why I find it confusing when posters throw the phrase around like it's fact. I spent four days at TDS and they had to drag me out of there. I think it really depends on how much you enjoy a park. Anybody that could be through with TDS in less than a day, that could want to leave, would consider it less than a full-day park, but I think that would have more to do with their enjoyment than with the amount there is to do. There are people who easily spend a day at AK and others who can't. What does that make it?

I'd like to see a moratorium on the terms full-day and half-day park because they are tossed around without any standard in meaning, and really depend on the visitor.

I agree tomm4004. Anyone can make any park a half day, full day, or two day park. It just depends on what you want to see and when you want to go.

Does anyone know an exact date when autopia, stitch and ufo cool zone will be opening, all the things that I have read say summer 2006 but I would like to know if I will be able to go on them when I am there at the end of June/begining of July.
