just wondering if anyone on here has ventured outside the realm of the disney empire to go to Hawaii. (this would be my first time!) it is going to be for our honeymoon, so we decided on staying on the island of Kawai.

any good deals you can think of? for plane tickets, hotel, anything on the island? any personal experiences.

We were thinking of using priceline or expedia for our flight and hotel, any advice there?!

thanks so much!

Well, I can't tell you about Kauai because we stayed on Oahu, but I will tell you that you will love the islands. We had a great time and are going back in 2 years to renew our vows on the grounds of the Iolani Palace in Honolulu. Already have a minister and everything set up.

For years Hawaii was my favorite vacation spot, but I think that Disney has taken over number one. But if you want a place to relax and appreciate beauty, Hawaii is the place.

Aloha and congratulations!

Haven´t been to Hawaii YET, but I will some day... :animwink:

Are you serious about using priceline for your honeymoon trip? You are aware that once you are quoted, there are no changes, right? I would do it through a travel agent or someone who knows about the place and how to get from island to island before trying any online booking service. Just my two cents.

Aloha!

maria- yup, we have used priceline for hotels before, and I love how it works. (50 bucks 5 star hotel in downtown chicago. amazing)

we checked in with our travel agent that we used for our trip to cancun, and he quoted us a price that was insane. we have found the same exact stuff for much cheaper via airline websights. but I was hoping that other people could tell me if they hada good experiece with other websights or not.

and yes, I ment Kauai. oops. :)
