honeymoon registry ?

so i sent this question to disney a week ago and nobody has responded yet. sooo i figured i'd try here. am i correct in thinking we can't sign up for the honeymoon registry if we stay at the best western in downtown disney? its not a technical "disney" property right? at least its not listed on their website, but it has everything the other ones do, shuttles and whatnot..anywho just wondering cuz we really wanted to do the registry
and we dont want to change hotels. "disney" hotels are expensive except for the pop century & all stars and those are just scary crowded since they're the cheapest. :lookaroun anyways thanks for your help with my question!

My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon 2 weeks ago and we used the Disney Honeymoon Registry. You are required to enter your Disney hotel reservation confirmation number. We stayed at 3 different resorts during our stay, but were only able to connect our registry to our first resort. So while I could be wrong because I never directly asked, but I do not believe you can use the DHR if you do not stay on property. I figured my input was better than nothing at all!
