Hi All!

I am new to the forum but not to WDW. I have been there over 20 times and worked as a College Program cast member. (Fall 2001 Adventureland Merchandise Hostess)

My fiance' and I are going on our honeymoon at WDW from 5/13/07 to 5/21/07. We are going to be staying at Coronado Springs.

I have been countless times. My fiance' has only been two times and both were when he was under 10.

Any ideas of special things we could do to make this trip different? I have thought of only one so far...

I have never eaten at California Grill. So, I want to do that one of our nights during wishes.

Any ideas are appreciated...

Thanks!

I've been a lifelong WDW visitor, but I had never heard of the Hoop Dee Doo Revue at Fort Wilderness. I found out about it while reading trip reports and we decided to go while on our last trip. We had a great time and really enjoyed it. In case you don't know, HDD is a comedic country themed dinner show. Food is family style all you can eat fried chicken, ribs, corn, beans, etc. The food is pretty good and the bread and butter is not to be missed. It's topped off with strawberry shortcake for dessert. The show is super funny. There is singing, dancing, and slapstick comedy. It's in the line of Hee-Haw (old show, before my time). There is a lot of audience participation and you're sure to have a good time.

There are also horse-drawn carriage rides at Port Orleans Riverside. I like the idea of dinner at CG too. Try to get your ADR for about 45 min-1 hour before Wishes. When it starts you can go out onto the observation deck and watch the fireworks. They also pipe in the music so you can hear it.

Enjoy your honeymoon
