Honeymoon Cruise luggage

Hi,

Me and my fiancé will be getting married in July and have our WDW honeymoon booked for end of Aug into September for 3 weeks. The first week is a 7 night cruise on the Fantasy.

We last went to WDW in 2013 and we both had one huge suitcase each for a two week holiday. With the extra week and it being on the Fantasy we will probably need a 3rd extra large suitcase for everything (we are flying from the UK). Just curious to know if there are any luggage limitations for the cruise and also if 3 large suitcases would fit comfortably in our stateroom?

Also with the rotational dining are guests sat within their parities or would they be mixed with other guests?? May be missing it but haven't seen any tables seating two in any of the restaurant photos/videos.

Thanks! Only second time posting on WDW Magic (got some great tips for my proposal last time on posted for 2013 trip)

All help is much appreciated!!
Thanks
Lee

I have seen tables in dining rooms that seat two, there are not many of them, and I am not sure how to go about getting one. My wife and I have been on three Disney cruises so far and we have been seated with other couples every time, not that there is anything wrong with sitting with other people.
There should be plenty of room under the bed for you suitcases.
Not sure about the limitations, as we have only ever brought one case at a time. Hope this helps.

No luggage limitations and three cases should fit under the bed without problem.

If you want a table for just the two of you, call DCL and request a table for two. This would most likely be a table that can seat two, but you will just be two people seated at it. It is only a request, but most time the honour it. If it is very important to you, go to the place for dining changes just after embarkation (see Navigator for where it is) and ask there if your request has been granted.

They often try to seat Honeymooners with other young couples, so if you don't request a table for two, you will most likely be seated with some other couples.

Have a great honeymoon and cruise!

I have done two DCL trips with just the wifey2b and I. Each time we have been at a table for four but just the two of us are at it. On boarding day you can go to a designated location where a table for two can be requested (and typically fulfilled).

You can also stop by the Guest Relations desk in the main lobby of the ship, right after you board, to put in your request.

Also, if you'd like to cut down on luggage, there are guest laundry rooms tucked away in the stateroom hallways. They're pretty handy to the cabins, and can help you recycle some clothing before you disembark, essentially cutting your necessary clothing to two weeks' worth.

As we sometimes (usually) bundle a seven day cruise with a Park Visit (couple to 5 days), in order to keep luggage manageable, we also avail ourselves to the laundry facilities on board.

Thanks all!!

Very handy advice, think I will leave the request knowing that we will likely be out with other young couples! Also good to know that there is good laundry facilities available on board.

Thanks again!
