Today we just booked our Honeymoon for October 16th! We are staying at the Beach Club Resort and then taking taking a 3 Night Cruise on the Disney Dream! We could not be more excited as WDW was our obvious choice for our Honeymoon since it was where I proposed to her. I have never done the cruise before, but I have heard nothing but amazing reviews from friends that have gone. So I have to ask, is there any tips from anyone who has had their Honeymoon at WDW and/or The Disney Cruise that would be very useful for us???? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. We love Disney World and have both been there many times, but obviously as a Newlywed Couple, we would love to hear some feedback on some helpful tips

Wear the 'Ears' or button proclaiming you're Newlyweds; the Castmembers will in all likelihood make your honeymoon special.

Congratulations! October is a great time to be in the parks. We stayed at BC two years ago and LOVED IT! Atmoshpere is great and having the back door to Epcot is a major bonus. The pool is awesome as well. Have a great trip...it's gonna be a long countdown:(

Congratulations! October is a wonderful time to visit the World. There is nothing like a WDW honeymoon. All the best on your upcoming marriage and your honeymoon!

Congrats!!! Here is your tip -

Take time to catalog in your mind the way you feel on that trip, draw from it in the years to come during rough times. It will remind you how worthwhile and magical your relationship together is and help to overcome the obstacles. :)

Congrats! My honeymoon is booked for around that time too, and we are also doing a stay at WDW followed by a Bahamas cruise. I initially had planned to do a 3-night cruise, but my future wife suggested we do the 4-night cruise, pointing out that the extra day at sea will give us more time to explore the new Disney Dream. I hadn't thought of that and am very glad she did! If you haven't already booked your cruise and can fit it into your schedule and budget, you might want to consider that. Also, since we are driving to WDW we found it would be much cheaper (~$60 for parking) to drive to Port Canaveral ourselves than to get Disney transportation (~$70/person if I remember correctly). Most of all, just have fun!

Thanks everyone. I've been there in September (when I was a very young teenager. Never been in October. We do plan on attending the MNSHP, which we are very excited about. We both have never seen that. We have seen the Christmas party a few times and that was amazing, so this will be a great new event for us. Beach Club is my favorite resort! We first planned on making our Resort the Polynesian, but I talked her into the Beach Club, and she's happy we made that choice. Polynesian, as beautiful as it is, I feel the rooms do feel a bit outdated and from my experience at both resorts, the Beach Club is perfect for what we want to do.

With the offering of the short walk to Epcot, which we will most likely spend a lot of time (especially with the Food and Wine going on) it just makes sense for us. And with EASILY the best pool on property, she will soon see how nice it is to relax and swim there. We fully plan on taking this trip with a whole new view. We aren't running around ride to ride, we've been there so many times and we don't need that. This trip is all about having nice romantic dinners and really just enjoying the sites and sounds we love. Of course will will hit our favorite rides though, lol.

We are both SO excited for the Dream Cruise. We keep reading up on it and get more and more excited about it. We did tease the idea of the 4 day, but we decided to just do the 3 day for now. As we know we will love it, we will soon plan a longer cruise (maybe a 7 night)

Oh... and we fully plan on wearing our pins and ears too. hahaha. We wore our pins when I proposed to her on Main St and WOW, the cast members couldn't have made it more magical for us. We are very happy we made our decision to go to WDW for our Honeymoon. It's a place that will always be special to us and no better way to start our new life together than going to our Favorite Place in the World!

Any More suggestions from anyone else would be greatly appreciated!
