I think it is time they replace the honey I shrunk the kids playground area with something else.It has been there ever since the opening of the park and it is way outdated now I think a ride could go in that space or a new show.I am sure soon or later disney imagineering will think of something new to go there because it needs updating dont you people think. If they were to place a ride there it should be a ride either based on a movier or a disney cartoon. If it is a show well the same would go either a show based on a cartoon show or a movie who knows.

how about retheming (wouldn't be hard) to It's Tough To Be a Bug (may just be a matter of changing the sign, might help improve the bottom line

Yeah - someone else who thinks that it is a waste of space. Thanks also to Hurricane - I've already expressed this idea - nice to know that great minds think alike. :sohappy:

From a parent of little kids, that place is horrible. The kids may like it OK, but it's really not as good as a McDonald's playland. It's hard for parents to get around and there is no place for parents to sit and rest. In the heat, it's a nightmare and I would never take my kids in there again. If they asked to I'd offer them ice cream instead.

Plus that spongy material always looks dirty.

I personally... would like to see it go... but if a re-do was going to happen I think I would like to see a Toy Story playground area... the Fliks Fun Fair thingy looks neat also :)

As long as there are young kids and tired parents in WDW the Honey I shrunk the Kids set area will remain. I for one love the attraction....theres nothing like seeing the 'film slide' attendant CMs face when a full grown 18 year old comes careening down at him, he doesn't know whether to catch him or run away. :D

I like your Idea better or a Toy Story themed thing! That would be really neat and if you changed it to Flik's Fun Fair wouldn't it be practically the same?

I've seen that face looking at me too!

I think after a while it will be consumed by large toys and be transformed into some sort of Toy Story-esque toyland theme.

I think it could also work as a "Pixar Magic" playland. They could put items from the Toy Story movies and Bugs Life. They might be able to create some sort of Monsters Inc. tie-in as well. The possibilities are endless.

I certainly do think that Disney should give Pixar its own "land", instead of just scattering refrences to its movies all over the place. I think they could have an animation tour, also, but of course, they don't work there. I still think Disney could create a place to learn about CGI, wihtout having a tour of an actual Pixar studio. It would fit in best at Animation Courtyard. Mabey a 3D show, or soething.
