My fiancee and I stayed at the Homewood Suites on International Drive (behind Bahama Breeze) and we really enjoyed this hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff was quite friendly, and for $149/night. It was a comfortable stay!
Though, the weekend we went (March 24-26), it was quite busy on I-drive and getting to Disney was a nightmare. But, given the other options where most of the Disney hotels were way out of my league, I'd rather stay off-site at a reputable hotel AND since it's part of the Hilton Honors network, I got my points!
