Thanks to my amazing DH, we were able to briefly be transported to the Magic Kingdom with our own homemade pineapple dole whip floats. They truly tasted like the real thing, however slightly creamier, as we used milk instead of water.

Any treats you like to make at home to remind you of the world?

The recipe can be found in our Recipe thread that is stickied to the top of this forum (I believe there are 2 versions listed), you can use the accompanying Index to find the exact page.

While there don't forget to check out the recipes listed for some of your favorites, if you have any requests please post in our Recipe thread and NOT in the Index thanks!

He purchased the dole pineapple powder mix for the ice cream maker online. Directions are below. So worth it!

~2c milk/water/pineapple juice (your choice)
1⅓ c dole mix
+ milk/water/pineapple juice to = 1 Quart

1. mix well 2c liquid with dole mix
2. add enough liquid to fill to 1 Quart line
3. chill
4. pour into ice cream machine (while it is ON)
5. Once mixed, freeze, then enjoy with a can of pineapple juice over the top!
