The 11 month window for home resort booking presents an advantage to owning at each resort. What do you see as the benefit of owning at each WDW DVC Resort? As a question related to this comes up here from time to time, here are my thoughts. What say you?
OKW - very low point charts, especially for the 3 bedrooms compared to others.
SSR - ability to secure a treehouse villa.
BWV - standard view studio, one of the best values of point usage on property.
BCV - smallest DVC resort, often hardest to get, prime location, premium pool.
AKL - Value Rooms have very low point charts, but also only 5 Club Level 2BR Lock off's exist.
Poly - Certainly an awesome resort. I had no issue getting a studio at 7 months, I suspect bungalows are rarely fully booked.I am not sure I see an advantage to owning here.
VGF - Again, I really liked it here. Again I got just what I wanted at 7 months. Perhaps the Larger accommodations book quickly(?), but I am not sure I see a benefit here either.
BLT - Really big resort with lots of availability. I was not a big fan of it after staying there, but it's hard to argue with the old adage: location, location, location. Such a short walk to the gates of MK is pretty swell.
Wilderness - TBD, but I was able to book studios at 7 months twice in the summer. The resort itself is pretty fantastic: theme/decor and combination of seemingly counter characteristics of seclusion and location. Is there a differentiating advantage to it being your home resort though?
