Greetings all from the Geek Labs

thedigitalbits.com reports the following today - cant wait to add Home on the Range to the DVD collection

Disney has set 8/3 as the street date for the animated Home on the Range (SRP $29.99). Look for deleted scenes, a "making of" featurette, a couple of interactive games and a music video

Ok kids calm down 29.99 is usually the SRP (SUGGESTED Retail Price) for any DVD. But they never charge that much.

I liked this movie and with 50 some odd DVDs from Disney it would feel odd to skip one, especially one I thought was still entertaining.

This was a very good movie despite the box office. It will be well worth buying on DVD. Very repeatable, especially with the great music.

I haven't seen this movie yet (It's going to be a summer movie, here in Israel) I was wondering.... Is it worth watching? From teasers and trailers it looks to be one of the worst Disney animated classics ever! Besides comedy (which I heard was great), is there a deeper story than jokes? (I heard great reviews about BB's storyline yet none about HOTR).

Yea, I didn't care for the cover art either.

I'm expecting that there will be alot of deleted scenes. When I was watching it, it seemed like so much was cut. I liked it though.

The soundtrack is really good.

We haven't seen it but I am sure we'll be buying it. We were going through our VHS movies last night an wish we could have them in the DVD format - a little too expensive to do.

If we are playing high/low, I'll go with 18.99 from Target.
