Bob Gibson and Jim Lonborg. Carl Yastremski and Lou Brock. Roger Maris was also a member of the 1967 Cards team.

I've never heard so many respectful things said about the opposing team from both sides. I guess we both realize that even when we're on the road, no matter if it's STL or Boston, we'll be in front of the best fans in baseball.

Whooo Hoooo! I've been waiting for this since the Royals Ripped us (off) in '87! I just got my lucky Series hat out of storage...my husband and my kids are not happy about that. ( Its one of those white baseball hats with the Redbird head in front, tail in back and wings that flap on the sides). So who alls going and which games will you be at? Game 4 here (I'll be the lady in red), unless I can talk someone in to going to join the knothole gang for 3 & 5~
Kyle and Buck must surely be smiling down on Redbird Nation now!

ps have you heard the Craig Cornet Cardinals 2004 song on 93.7? I stopped at Schnuck's just to get the cd!

I stand corrected (I was just a little girl then it all gets muddy). I'll gladly try and track you down..shouldn't be too hard, only 54,998 others in red! If you hear other vendors making jokes about some lady in red, running round saying "hello, I"m dwarful" you'll know it was me! I favor the Cards tonight over Schil. and the Cards only have to win one in Boston because I think they can win all 3 at Busch (they did it with the Astros so it can be done!).....
