I was wondering we went to disney in may and spent 2 days in Hollywood studios we kept looking for the street performers that we loved but we hardly saw any. Does anyone know if they are cutting back on the street performers?
Street performers are there in the morning. They go on and off stage periodically. There is no set schedule that i'm aware of but there last performances are between 3-5 depending on the weather, crowds, special events, etcetera. If you really want to see the citizens of hollywood (their official name) the best time is between park open and 11am. (10:30 at the moment due to frozen events (parade at 11.))
IT's very hit and miss. I have seen them 3 or 4 times in a day and on other trips not at all. Just depends on when they are out and if you are there. Always hilarious and lots of fun. we got a tour of the park one time in the old white car. Very spontaneous and organic shows.
You can find them mostly nearby the intersection of Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd. You can check in at guest relations to find out who is scheduled to appear and if they are going on stage that day.
Last year I saw them 3 times going to and from TOT and RRRC.
This year I saw one.
Extremely hit or miss. It's mostly luck. If you hear one , which you probably will, go and watch, even if it requires more walking. You might not see em again
