Hollywood Studios needs more Star Wars

With Star War weekends being so popular I would love to see them do more with theme. The characters could be there throught the year they could make a Star Wars Stunt show to run along with the Indy Stunt Show. I think a cool idea would be to create a cantina to eat at and have SW characters come to the tables like the other character dining experiences.

I would love to see a Cantina restaraunt at DHS. A Star Wars stunt show though? Don't see how that would work, it would mostly be people flipping around and sword fighting. At least with Indy there's a lot of dangerous stunts to use. Personally I think Star Tours is fine as the counterpart to the Stunt Show, as Star Wars specializes more in the CG and special effects department.

I don't see how much more could really be added to the area. The park needs a couple new E-tickets, but I don't think Star Wars would be used for one. Unless of course Lucas has some zany idea that everyone at Disney loves and he's willing to let them do it.

If they brought back Raiders Of The Lost Jedi Temple Of Doom for Star Wars weekends I think that would make a lot of people happy especially MasterYoda.

star wars weekends are popular because it's not their all the time (other than the star tours ride). the marathon weekends are really popular too but I don't want to see more of them in the parks.

It is quite unfathomable to me that Disney has never done more with Star Wars. It is probably the biggest franchise in cinema history. You would think at least one other SW attraction, a restaurant, and perhaps a show. That would be the best franchise combat HP's unique merch too. EVERY kid would be buying a light saber if they land was well done.

I would definately love to see the Star Wars fireworks done during the closing ceremony become a staple of Star Wars weekends. That was an extremely well done show.

I'm not too big on a whole land full of more Star Wars at Studios...but I LOVE the Cantina idea!

(still would love to see the Indy Stunt show replaced with the Indy ride too)

This is how I would do it..

First off, I would retheme the entire area of that park into a land called "Timira City" those of you familiar to Star Wars would know that Timira City is a far away destination on the planet Kamino in which they clone the Clone Troopers. I would pretty much recreate or redo each show building to make them look like complete replicas of the cloning facilities shown in the films. The largest show building would be the Indy building so I would use that as the main cloning facility to host an all new E-ticket attraction.

Star Tours would get a facelift to match the theming of the land and I would also add the Cantina restaurant (since I loved the idea). Reason being I chose Timira City mostly because Hollywood Studios needs kind of a futuristic look in the park to go with the many movie genres and Star Wars obviously fits the bill. To me doing a land replicating Tatooine or even Endor would give the land an Animal Kingdom vibe only with Star Wars characters. In addition, I think Timira City would look top notch at night with the lit up buildings and color changes from bright blue to dark purple. An awesome addition to WDW and a definite Potter-Squatter, if you ask me. ;)

I think that a more elaborate STAR WARS environment at DHS would provide some much-needed competition to IOA's Harry Potter World. Imagine an array of buildings and attractions designed to mimic the many planets of the series!

Admittedly, I was a little bummed that STAR TOURS was only being replaced at its current location, rather than something more elaborate being built in place of the large but the barely relevant Backlot Tour area. Imagine the possibilities of that space!

Originally I really did not like the idea of having a Star Wars land at the studios but more and more I think it would be such a great idea. talking about a Harry Potter Killer, the universe is vast and would be extremely exciting to explore.

I was thinking that part of a DHS expansion would include a star wars land with a cantina, a cloud city inspired shop and a jedi academy. the jedi academy would be filled with interactive activities.

I think the Jedi Training Academy works well in its current format - any bigger and it would impact the kids participation. I am DEFINITELY in favor of a cantina - it would work perfectly with the animatronic band (a la Cosmic Rays) and could have any host of characters wandering through. I'm a total Star Wars junkie so anything that would immerse you in that world would be awesome IMO.

A Star Wars Cantina would be booked year round. A Star Wars Cantina is a no brainer and I would be shocked if this isn't already being talked about

Man, a cantina would be SO cool!!! Fantastic idea. An entire land would be sweet too...they really need to ditch the soundstage that is Star Tours, and give it a proper look and building to house the attraction...unforuantely, I don't see this EVER happening, especially with the recent Star Tours 2.0 upgrade.

The possibilities are really endless with Star Wars and Disney, though. They are sitting on a GOLDMINE of opportunity, if Lucas would sign on too, of course.

Weird - I was picturing it as a quick serve. Either way - it would be a total hit. Food options are lacking in DHS so I completely agree with you.
