Tower of Terror. This ride has everything, an amazing setting, awesome queue, beautiful scenes, a thrilling ride a gripping history and a great story.

The approach to the tower of terror can only be beaten by the approach to Space Ship Earth and almost as iconic. The background music that is heard while winding around the cracked walkway to the entrance of the tower sets the mood perfectly. The statues, lamp posts and vegetation just couldn't get much better. Once you reach the entrance and you enter the lobby, it just feels majestic even with all the webs and dust. The chandeliers, tapestries and art work are perfect. Most of the time the cast members that welcome you into the library can only be rivaled by the cast members at the Haunted Mansion. The pre show couldn't be better with Rod introducing the back story of why the hotel is in the state that it is in. The detail of basement as you walk towards the service elevators. The excitement of what is about to happen and the many times I have encountered people riding for the first time and the fear some have. Than entering the elevator ride car and strapping in for a visual amazement, the detail of the ride as the story continues. Than Rod says his last line before the drop sequence. Amazing, just amazing.

It does everything right. Its not just a thrill ride, it is so much more. I just watched an old video last night from 94 when the wife, other family and myself rode the Tower of Terror for the first time and also happened to be the year it opened. To this day it is just as amazing as it was than.

I have a love/hate relationship with ToT. I love the idea of it, the theming, the ambiance. Once I am on the ride, I love it. All of the butterflies and queasiness in my stomach while we are waiting tend to disagree.

ToT... Ive loved it ever since it opened and ride it as many times as I can fit into a trip. I was/am a huge Rod Serling/ TZ fan, so the entire attraction thrills me. I love seeking out the items from the series that the imagineers have places around. I wish I could get a better view of the check in desk and lobby items. I think I've taken more photos of that attraction than any other in WDW.

It's probably going to always be between RnR and ToT. I like Aerosmith, but ToT has too much going for it.

I miss Muppet Vision 3D. Never understood why they removed it from Disneyland (ToT too but that was different).

I think the "best" attraction (amazing concept and theme, unique, beautifully executed) is Tower of Terror.

My favorite, though, is Rock 'n' Rollercoaster. (Just a personal preference, as "drop rides" aren't my thing, but coasters are).
My sentiments exactly. I appreciate Tower of Terror and the theming, but will not ride it, because it is too intense for me. I love coasters like the Rock n Rollercoaster though, it doesn’t make me sick like Everest can. Before The Great Movie Ride was taken away, I would have said that (great theming from the building to queue to ride), but my vote is for the coaster. Toy Story Mania does not have much going on for a “ride” experience. I can play video games at home. Star Tours...I despise simulators and this is the ride that told me when I was young that my body can’t stand them. Hollywood Studios greatly needs more variety in rides.

Oh, I enjoy the Muppets as characters, but I think they need a new or updated attraction.

TOT - - - On our honeymoon my wife and I got to ride an elevator car all by our selves. We rode it 11 times that day, when the park was closing we told one of the workers it was our honeymoon and TOT was our fav ride. They let us ride it just the two of us. So much fun. We got a pic and a vid to prove it - - - photo pass was great :)

That list pretty much sums up why I don't even want to go to HS anymore. Can't do TOT or RRC because of health issues. Went on Star Tours once and hated it more than any ride I've ever been on anywhere. Muppets and TSM are okay.

Tower of Terror, people screaming, people laughing, lots of gasps, it has something for everyone. When you get off, it seems that everyone has had a great time, plus I've had some great CM interactions.

I still love Muppet Vision, it could use and overhaul, I would just be afraid of what management would come up with. Maybe keep the same basic story just update the tech. Or maybe since 3D is everywhere take it to the next level and make it somewhat interactive, not like Toy Story Mania but viewer interactive.

Toy Story Mania is a great attraction, atleast to my wife and I. It is a competition that we have two to three times for every visit. I don't rate it up there with TOT, but it has a place and is something we both really look forward to. It is a much higher quality ride than Space Ranger Spin, only because I have never experienced a malfunction on TSM. Space Ranger Spin has about a 60% success rate at best.

Star Tours is on the right track in that it has multiple versions of the same ride. Still not the caliber of TOT but this is the direction that Disney needs to go. For the life of me I cant figure out how they didn't incorporate many versions into FOP. That ride is ripe for it. Besides I like Body Wars better than Star Tours. They need to bring rides like that back to EPCOT.
