Holly Day Parade at Disney Studios

Can anyone give me more details about the Holly Day Parade at MGM? That parade will be going on while we're at Disney in a few weeks :sohappy: and I haven't heard of it before. :lookaroun I haven't been to Disney around Christmas time in about 8 years... How long have they been having this parade?

I believe it is a dressed-up version of Stars in Motorcars, with a holiday soundtrack

Since old threads seem to be resurrected quite a bit lately, and this was the most recent thread in the search, here goes.

Does anyone know if the Holly-day Parade (or any special holiday parade) will happen at the Studios this year? The official online calendar doesn't list anything.

It ran last year (posted in the schedules) but no mention this year as you say. There's time for Disney to change their mind and amend the schedules to include it

The cars that were used in this parade were the same cars as the ones in the Stars and Motorcars Parade, which has since made a trip over to Walt Disney Studios Paris, as we have received Block Party Bash. I see no chance of the Hollywood Hollyday Parade returning or continuing. If anything, I see the Block Party Bash floats getting a Christmas layover, with the show staying the same.

The Holly Day parade will not be returning given that it was only a layover for the S&MC parade. Expect a new Christmas parade at DHS this year.

Does DHS's Christmas Parade start around Thanksgiving, like the other Christmas festivities in the other parks?

I don't remember from the last time I was at WDW around Thanksgiving.

Are they going to post a schedule?

Anyone know the name (or possible name)?

Thanks for the info. A different Christmas parade would be fine with me - I was just worried that they wouldn't do anything special for the holiday, but just have the usual parade (which is what the schedules say now).
