Just some fun facts:

All over WDW for the Winter holiday season, you will see:

8.5 Million lights
300,000 yards of ribbon
15 miles of garland

This includes all the individual resores (including Vero Beach and Hilton Head), 4 parks, 2 cruise ships, Downtown Disney, and over 400 merchandise shops.

The trees:

There are over 1,500 trees on property for the holidays. The largest holiday tree on property is at the Contemporary at 70 feet tall. The largest base section is 26 feet wide weighing in at 18,000 lbs. All the trees are trucked in on a flatbed and hoisted up with a 70-ton crane.

Be sure to check out the new trees at the Grand Floridian and Pop Century!

Where is the largest wreath located? On the Cirque de Soleil building with a diameter of 25 feet!

I was in the World during the Christmas Season (there for New Years actually) of 2000/2001 and the decorations absolutely blew me away.

I love WDW and I love Christmas and I think that I was in Heaven for that trip. I have honetsly never seen better, more thorough decorations!
