Holiday Park Addmission Question?

Heading to WDW for our 1'st New Year's trip on the 30'th with plans on being at EPCOT for New Years Eve. We are staying on property (Yacht Club) and I am wondering if the resort guest guaranteed addmission policy is still in effect at this very busy time of the year. We want to arrive late afternoon @ Epcot and do not want to get shut out. Thanks :xmas:

Yes...if you are staying in a Disney resort you are guaranteed into the parks on those busy days. The only question I have is whether Yacht Club is included in that...I don't know because I've never stayed there. I'm sure someone else would have info on that. But I do know that it is especially in those busy times they let you in if staying on property.

They have stages of closure. One of them is however, closed to EVERYONE whether you're staying on property or not.

So there is a chance you are NOT guarenteed entrence on sell-out days no matter what. Generally speaking, once you get there, you should stay.

hey!!! See...I don't know everything!

Thanks for clearing that up Miss M! I'd forgotten about the fact that sometimes they don't let anybody in. :D

I am also planning our first trip to Epcot on New Years Eve, and had planned on arriving late afternoon. We are staying at the Beach Club, so we will be entering from the rear gate. I spoke to a few CM's when we were there in July, and they both said to lay low all day and go to the park at night. Is it typical for Epcot to close down on New Years Eve? I've heard of the MK closing, but not Epcot. Now I'm starting to worry :veryconfu
