Holiday Overlays

Do you guys think that there should be some in WDW along with DL? I think there should because it gives locals another reason to buy an AP so they can get in for the special limited edition themes. Also, what rides would you like to see?

I will post some of mine later. :)

I love the Holiday overlays. I don't see why they couldn't be at WDW but the prevailing reason is that they dont want to ruin the experience for the once in a limetimers since the tourist population is so much higher then the APs.

I think that WDW's space is probably more suited to Ghost Galaxy with the rougher track and sharper drops but it would need a sound system installed. Nightmare would go perfectly since they are pushing it so hard during Halloween time but the 2-3 weeks on each end for setup and tear down might cause some problems. Small Worlds again is such a well themed add on it just reenforces the holiday while you get to experiance the classic attraction.

One I think would be cool to add would be RNRC. Make it like Ghost Galaxy and it would be really easy and cheap because it would just require some lighting changes and programing to make it work.

I've always felt that WDW could've done the most simplest holiday overlays over the years including, the transformation of the Beauty and the Beast stage show into The Enchanted Christmas. Jingle Bell Rock n' Rollercoaster, featuring top musical stars. Toy Story Mania covering Halloween and Christmas overlays. Winnie the Pooh can go the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland route, and blend in Christmas and Halloween stories in the dark ride. Space Mountain SHOULD receive Ghost Galaxy in the future also.

All of those ideas are really great. I think you're right about the simple overlays being the best route.

Personally I'd love to see a Muppet Vision Christmas overlay, or a Villians overlay of Philarmagic for Halloween time. The B&tB Enchanted Christmas idea would work great with the new M&G experience & Be Our Guest restaurant as well.
