Holiday Decorations

Anyone know when the holiday decorations start going up at the parks? I know that when we were at the Beach Club during the 1st week of Nov. last year, they just started decorating the hotels.

Everything is officially up the day after Thanksgiving. But you see things all over the resort start appearing now

I heard from a friend that when you go to bed on Thanksgiving, everything is normal. But when you wake up the next morning, everything is completely decorated for Christmas...it's supposed to be magically done overnight. Does anyone know if this is true?

I've always wanted to be down there to see the Christmas decorations. :xmas:

I remember some being up around now last year. We're staying over Thanksgiving so that Friday we're doing all 4 parks since we're leaving on Saturday. Including Candlelight processional. Oh I can't wait. 13 days. lol Sry that probably didn't answer anything to do w/your ? but it just excited me!

I think this used to be true years ago when WDW was a lot smaller, but now there is just too much decorating to be done across the whole resort to get done in one night.

Someday I'll hopefully make it to WDW for the holidays to see the decorations too!

The decorations were up at AS Music this past Friday. Didn't notice much going on at the parks.

The Emporium on Main Street has some garlands etc up already inside

Same at the Expo Hall. I also noticed as I passed by on the monorail that the Polynesian is starting to get decked out.
