Im off on Holiday to Florida (as you can probably tell from my banner
). I am taking my brothers camcorder, the Hitachi DZ-HS301E.
When my brother got it, it came with a CD with drivers on which was a software to get the videos off the camera onto a computer ready for computer editing then further onto releasing the video on youtube or similar. But, we have now lost the CD which isn't very clever I do know.
I contacted Hitachi to see if they could send us a new CD and they said no because each CD is assigned to individual camcorders so she went onto say that you can download free/payware software that you can use to get the files off of the camcorder and onto the computer.
So, my question is, does anyone know of any good software that I could use to get videos off the camcorder and onto the computer
