hired but not hired

hey all wdwmagic friends,
I was hired by wdw but no job was offered. I was told no jobs at this time, and I called back mid December was told by end of the month I would hear something about a job. Up till now I still have not heard anything, does any one out there in wdwmagic land know what is going on with the jobs at wdw??

If you were hired by the mouse, you'd have been offered a job. Did you go through traditions? Were you asked to provide any I9 documentation?

it looks like you are on the waitlist, now you just need to be patient, my friend who now works at mk was on the waitlist for nearly 2 months

Limited availability will almost guarantee the wait-list right now. My wife was just hired P/T & when she specified limited availability in the interview, they had nothing to offer, but when she changed to 'full availability', she was offered her choice of 3 positions.

However, since she completed her training over a week ago she's not been on the schedule, since it's slow right now.

If you can open up your availability, you will definitely increase your opportunities. Once you're in, you can negotiate availability.
