"There are still episodes of the show that have been [unaired]," the actress told Cinema Confidential. "The last one shows the girls graduating from middle-school and going to high school. It doesn’t exactly show them graduating, though. But we’re leaving. But the movie picks up where the television show ends. There were 65 total episodes. But let me say this--I think Disney Channel didn’t give us enough credit for the age range that watched the show. They said that the audience [demographics] was 7-14 years old. That’s the main target audience. But I can’t count the number of times that high school guys or college student girls would come up to me and say, ‘My dorm doesn’t have cable and we have to go to the dorm next door. After we get done from parties, we watch it because it comes on at 11.’ And adults, and this couple that was 35 years old that were newly married and didn’t have kids, came to me and said, ‘We just got married. We don’t have kids but we watch Lizzie McGuire.'"
