Just a warning to anyone going in the summer if they have their own wheelchair and want to see High School Musical at MGM. We arrived at the viewing area for the show 15 mins before the start. This was about as much as we could manage as its so hot and that's about as long as our son in the wheelchair can manage.
We asked a cast member where to stand and they pointed to the taped off wheelchair area. However, it was full so we were told to try later. That's OK but we were slightly annoyed. Not because we had to come back but because of the amount of room reserved for wheelchairs. There was only room for a maximum of 5 wheelchairs and then it was full!
It was even more annoying that all the people in the chairs were adults with not a child amongst them or their party!
When you look at the amount of room everyone else has compared to just 5 spaces for wheelchairs its a bit unfair. I did ask the cast member if it could be looked at and he was very nice about it but I doubt anything else will be done. Just a small point incase anyone is thinking 'well just stand at the tape with other folk...'we've tried that and people just push their kids infront of the wheelchair! This isn't a rant....just a warning to other wheelchair folk!:animwink:
