High School Musical 3 - nearest cinema

We will be arriving in Florida on 23rd October, High School Musical 3 is set for release on 24th October. We are staying in international drive. Can anyone recommend the best/nearest cinema for us to go to? We are not driving so would have to take a taxi or bus. Also do you know if anything special might happen at the regular pep rally at MGM on that day? Any advice would be appreciated.

International Drive is super long... so depending on which part you are staying, either Universal or Pleasure Island probably.

I doubt anything special would go on with the pep rally.

Pointe Orlando, get the i-ride to there then theres a big cinema there.

Pleasure Island 24 at Downtown Disney, and the Regal Cinemas at Festival Bay Orlando are my favorites. Look them up!

Well what transportation are you using to get to Disney? Can't you just visit Downtown Disney to see the movie?

But yeah, if you're on I-Drive your best bets will be the AMC Loews Universal Cineplex 20 @ Universal CityWalk, the Regal Pointe Orlando Stadium 20 @ Pointe Orlando, or the Cinemark Festival Bay 20 @ Festival Bay Mall.

I got confused because another one of my theatres got eaten up by that company...Might of been Pointe Orlando.
