i have never heard of a hidden mickey before coming to this forum. are they a where's walldow type of thing, little mickeys hidden in other pictures? if so where are your favorite ones and does anyone have a picture? i was thinking if that is what they were i would make a game with my kids i'd give them a disposable camera and have them take pictures of the mickeys they find and the ones who find the most gets a prize but i wanted to make sure of what they were first. and get a idea of where some where and maybe see a picture or two
thanks for listening

A hidden mickey is a subtle tribute to Mickey Mouse. It's just the basic three circles, you know? You can find them hidden all over the parks. They hidden in rocks, pavement, wallpaper, objects. Like in the haunted mansion in the ballroom, the table has a large plate on it with two small ones on either side, forming the shape of mickey mouse. And that's just one example. If you want to see some, go to hiddenmickeys.org, or if you get the travel channel, watch undiscovered walt disney world next time it's on. They do a whole segment on hidden mickeys.

There is also a book on Hidden Mickeys which is available at any bookstore or in the parks. I know they even have a tour of Hidden Mickey's at Wilderness Lodge, too. They are everywhere. On most every ride, the book is fun because it helps pass the time while waiting in lines. It isn't always the three circles; for example when you are in the great movie ride at MGM and you go into the Indiana Jones movie look to the left and you will see a Mickey and a Donald completely drawn out. It's really cool! Have fun searching... :)
