Someone on TheDibb recommended I join this site too so here I am... have been to WDW before (both off-site and Club Level GF). Cost of living and re-training for a new career means money isn't as good as it was but it's my 40th next summer so where better to celebrate? Booked into CBR but hadn't realised it's the biggest resort and now wondering if it's going to be an overcrowded nightmare. Just booked a standard room as only myself and DS16 going. Hoping not to spend too much time in the hotel but still aware we're likely to need downtime. Fingers crossed all goes to plan!!

CBR is really pretty but the size of the resort and the transportation setup is why we’ve always avoided it. There’sa lot of people who only stay there though. I hope your birthday trip is amazing! My fortieth is in only a couple weeks

Thank you so much. That's very kind of you. I'm hoping we can get a room near the Skyliner and, as the travel agent put a request on my holiday booking for a quiet room and mentioned that I'll be celebrating my birthday, I'm hoping beyond hope that they're able to accommodate our wish. I've heard you can request which village you're in but I don't know how
