I have been reading off and on here for years. I was surprised when I realized I had never joined! :hammer:

My DD (20) and I are both severely addicted to Disney world. My DH and DS (22) refer to it as our "strange addiction"...whatever. Who said they had to go anyway? :ROFLOL:

Reading these types of forums is so helpful between trips. I feel like I am around people that get me and my strange addiction. :ROFLOL:

Not to get into the "abbreviation" discussion, but who actually refers to their family members as "dear so-and-so." Doesn't really bother me, and I know its prevalent on pretty much every message board out there, but I just wonder where it came from.
