Just wanted to give a shout out to all. We must all love Disney to be a part of this community. I loved Disney as a child and now, at age 46, some of the luster has worn off as I see WDW slowly decay. I was with Roy Disney with his "Save Disney" campaign and have been a member of "miceage" for quite some time after the "Save Disney" website was terminated. Glad to have found a place that concerns mostly WDW.
I'm very critical of current WDW management. The way the resort has gone down hill over the past 15 or so years is appalling. I'm hoping, beyond hope, that Senior management wakes up soon to the fact that their "Flagship" property is in dire need of TLC.
I'm a central FL resident and my wife has worked for WDW for the past 16 years. We used to go all the time, but find that Universal is now our destination of choice. They offer exceptional attractions as well as themeing and best of all, we don't have to mortgage everything we own for a good time there unlike Disney.
Now that I've said my part, hopefully you'll understand if I seem overly critical of WDW as a whole.
Thanks for the opportunity to join in with your community!
