Based on the original Tobe Hooper film, that also happens to be the scariest film of all time!
Been there, done that. Hopefully it's better than the 2007 house, which I was not a fan of.
Somewhat surprised it's based on the original film, given there's a new Leatherface film coming out. The potential for a tie-in seems like the only reason for revisiting TCM this year.

I love horror films... but i hate the original TCM!! ... too gross ha ha... I realize that's hypocritical... but it just always grossed me out.. which I guess is the point.. but I never felt like i could enjoy it.... also there is like way too much screaming by the main girl... ( I know it's probably realistic but it drove me crazy)

That girl never stops screaming! I am a huge horror fan as well but I've just never cared for the original either. I wanted to love it but it just wasn't that scary to me.
