Hey There! I'm New Here

Hey there fellow Disney lovers. I'm Josh. I live in a small town in Illinois about an hour south of Chicago and have been trying to move as close as possible to Disney World for some time now.

Unfortunately, I don't have the finances to do so. But I am looking for the cheapest but safest places as close to Disney World as possible. Also looking to work there, hopefully full-time. I know the whole deal about full-time there. But I have 3 years Security experience, and would be willing to do most things other than Food/Housekeeping/Bus Driver. I'd be great at things like Security/Attractions/Gift Shop/Store.

But that's just a little about me. I would love to meet as many new people and fellow Disney World fanatics as myself.

Welcome to the forums. Good luck on your quest to move to Florida and work for Disney. Be sure to do your research on the cost of living vs the salaries paid. There are plenty of castmembers and former castmembers here that I'm sure can provide information.

Thank you so much, truly, that means so much to me. I have been researching this move for 10+ years now, and lately the research has become very intense. Other than trying to get the money to move, the hard part is finding a place to rent in my price range that isn't run down (bugs/broken air conditioning/etc.) and is in a safe neighborhood and close to THE Greatest Place on Earth.

I'm not that close to Walt Disney World either.
