Hey, I have not posted on here in so long, but happy to be back. My friend and I have decided to take a trip to Disney World in March of 2004. AS of now we are thinking about the Coronado Springs, or Pop Century if they hurry up and open it :p Any comments on Coronado? I have always wanted to stay there, the landscape looks great. I was thinking of the Ranchos or the Casitas. Also does anyone know if you can get Disney Autograph books online anywhere? I wanted to get mine before I went, trying to save money. :) Well I just wanted to say hey guys, hope things are good, looking forward to taking part in the board again!:sohappy:

I think that I read that coronado springs is getting the pool refurbed, but by 2004 it will probaly be done. I have no clues about the autograph books. I know i saw one in a disney store the other day. You might also want to check ebay or something.

I just went back and read about the rehad to the pool and it said that it will be done in febuary of 2002. So I think that Coronado would be a great place to stay. Ive never stayed there but most Disney hotels are great.

I would think that buying autograph books on-line from Disney would cost more when you added postage. From e-bay it might be a different story.

We have always found them at the first place you come to right inside the gate--really didn't take much time to buy them.

There are long, fat pens also available with the books--much easier for Eeyore to hold--poor dear has hooves rather than fingers, you know. I looked around and found some fat (but not overly long) pens at home. Retractable rather than something with a cap is much better, IMHO. (If my 8-year old would forget to snap the pen, often the characters would do it on his head. He got a big kick out of that.)

Cool thanks a lot for the tip. I did the autograph book thing when I was a kid, and I figured I wanted to do it again this time. Granted I will be 21 when I go, but oh well, dong childish things makes it fun some times.

If you have a dollar store near you, I would try there. I have a customer who went there for the autograph books. (this will save you a significant amount of money)

Yeah, I guess I am just going to get my book and pen once I get there.

Has anyone used the Passporter Guide Book that comes out every year? I have seen them for a few years, and almost bought one when I went last time, but decided not to. I have been enough times and know enough that I don't even need guide books, but they are always fun to have. I have just wanted to know if this is a good book, do poeple really use the little folders they have for each day?

Hello

Yes on one occassion. Several years ago when I was married to my 2nd wife, she thought we should get one for the WDW trip we were planning. She is much more organized than I am. I personally don't really do that type of planning. I like to just make sure that I have the guaranteed airfare, the guaranteed reservations for the hotel and transportation to the different parks and after that I like to wing it.

That is like the person I am going with. It drives him insane that I like to have pretty much everything planned, but that is how I am... I like to have all the details worked out before I leave, but doesn't mean that I am not open to change and doing something not planned when we are there.
