Went from the WL to POR with the free dining offer to save money. Now after some unfortunate circumstances I'm really thinking of switching from the DDP to the regular DP. All my Adrs are made so I would have to cancel quite a few. What a headache.

Good luck with whatever you choose and have a wonderful vacation. As much as I love to plan, I hate these kind of loose ends and unexpected "surprises." I feel for you. Let us know how it all shakes out.

Im feeling ya ---- Stuff blew up for us a couple o' trips back. I was pretty knotted up over it for a while.

You know what? It never got to "perfect" but in the end It all turned out all right!
Whatever happens - If you end up at wdw with the family or friends or both -- wherever you stay and whatever youre eating, it will be a win!

Well I was out numbered by my family. They opted to cancel our trip for a trip to ocean city. I am not happy. Who doesn't want to go to Disney?!? They can't be related to me. Talk about depressing. I should have pretend to call Disney and then tell them that I would lose $1,000 for canceling. Lol

Maryland and I agree with you!! I have been laying the guilt trip on them. We went fishing tonight and saw some ducks. I said look all the ducks in a row. I had all my ducks in a row and then you killed Donald on me. I told my daughter I was wearing my Minnie ears to O.C.

I have come to the realization that as long as you are in Disney that's all that matters! My DH and I always tried to break our backs working to save to stay at the deluxe resorts but with the economy and prices increasing every year and the amount of time you actually stay in the room, I will opt for the value resorts everytime and the money you save by doing that will get allow you to get the DDP! Even better is try to go when there's free dining! We are staying at POP in December and got the free quick service dining but opted to pay 18 bucks a day to upgrade to the one quick service/ one table service meal per day. I hope all works out for you and you have a magical trip!
